Yael stone, who is a New York City based Australian resident, played Lorna the character of Morello Orange Is the New Black in 2013. Yael Stone was a graduate of NIDA. Yael enjoyed the privilege to have the opportunity to work with the best storytellers in Australia. Her experience includes behind-the-scenes work on film, television as well as theatre. Yael is an internationally acclaimed actor in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael discovered her new place of residence with the city of New York City when the production was acclaimed in The Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM). Yael was co-founder of The Cannery. The Cannery is the Bushwick, Brooklyn studio, The Cannery promotes new ideas in creative writing, as well as innovative creative initiatives, and encourages the growth of writers in their teens.
